Baleària Port commits to the Montgorock Festival and stages events at the ‘Jauja’ throughout August

The programme includes a concert by Ariel Rot and events paying tribute to the famous Dénia disco Menphis

Baleària Port, the ferry port at Dénia, is staging the Montgorock Festival as well as a host of nocturnal events during the month of August. With the help of Grupo Menphis, the nocturnal events will be staged at Jauja Port, the entertainment area situated on the ferry port’s upper terrace. The aim of this centre for lesiure activities, culture and catering is to provide a fresh entertainment alternative in a unique setting.

Montgorock Festival will take place next 8 August in the ferry port car park from 6 p.m., with performances by Ariel Rot, Arizona Baby, Los Zigarros, Sexy Zebras, Los Perros del Boogie, Pinka, Allerton Road and an AC/DC tribute band. Tickets will be available to buy at the Dénia ferry port ticket office and at the following link: www.notikumi.com/2015/8/8/montgorock-fest-iii. Tickets will cost 24€ on the day and 22€ if you buy them in advance.

The nocturnal events at Jauja will be staged every Friday and Saturday throughout August, with  entertainers, photo booth, live acts (Josephine Sweet and Dani G. Sax) and the best music from well-known DJs like Josep Escriba (Chiringuito Oli Ba Ba), Jose Bellver (Sol i Lluna), Víctor Soriano (Vicious Radio), Alfonso Almiñana (Jauja Port) and Luís Villar (Ibiza Sensations).

Fiesta Menphis will be held on 8 and 22 August, paying tribute to the legendary disco which enjoyed phenomenal success in Dénia during the 80s and 90s. DJs Julio Torres, Pakito Revolution and Emilio will be taking part, with Menphis supplying the entertainers and the atmosphere.

The end of the season will be marked by the Closing Party on 29 August, attended by all the entertainers who have taken part in the programme so far. This unique event will host a live act (saxophone, vocals, violin and percussion), entertainers and a wide variety of music offered by every one of the participating DJs.

There is no entrance charge for any of the nocturnal events and parking is free.
